Presbyterian Women

Any woman, of any age, who attends Covenant Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Woman and is invited to attend PW’s monthly meetings (“Circle”) and any activities hosted by Presbyterian Women.  Check the Covenant website, newsletter, Opt-In announcements, and weekly worship bulletin for upcoming PW events.

These are some PW events:

Circle Meetings:  Gatherings are at 10:30 AM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the church Breezeway. This year’s Bible study is Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation by Olive Patricia Tull. For your copy of the study book, call or email Frances Craig. Discussion leaders rotate among volunteers. Some members attend monthly, and others come whenever they can. Either is fine!

Novels & Needles Book Club: Women of the church gather at 10:00 AM on the 2nd Friday of each month in the church Breezeway to study and discuss a previously selected book. Contact Susan Polly for more information.

Outreach Projects: Outreach projects include Meals on Wheels, Sunnyside Fellowship Fund, Church World Service Blanket Offering, and many other local, national, and world-wide mission opportunities. Each year we donate money through the Thank Offering in September and the Birthday Offering in May. These long-standing contributions are explained in the history section found in the link below.

PW Directory: Presbyterian Women helps prepare and distribute a directory with contact information for every woman of the church. The booklet (newly revised each year) is available at the October meeting. After that, you can pick up a copy from the church office.
