Developmentally appropriate Sunday School classes are offered from September – May for toddlers, preschool, and elementary-school-age children.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
SUNDAY FAITH FORMATION
Our children will be reading and playing along with the stories of the Hebrew Bible this fall. Each week, we will focus on a different hero and their faithful actions. Learn how Abram goes on journey with God, how Moses sees God in a burning bush, Esther saves her people, and many more! There are classes for early childhood (PK-Grade 1), lower elementary (Grade 2-3), and upper elementary (Grade 4-5) kiddoes
Faith Explorers
Children in grades 2-5 can join us on the first Friday of the month to play and learn together. We will work on mission projects, study Bible stories, worship, and, of course, play games! This year, we will be focusing on each of the charges in Matthew 25 as we learn to be good neighbors.
COVENANT KIDS
We value the chance to worship as whole church family. But we also know that it can be hard for our young children to sit and be still for so long…God made kids to move and play! As bridge to worship, children ages 3-grade 1 are invited to join our Covenant Kids leaders following the Children’s Message, if they would like. They will actively explore the Word with crafts, games, and stories. Then they will return to the service following the sermon to worship alongside us once again!
Adults can volunteer to assist our Covenant Kids teaching team as helpers. See the church newsletter for the sign up.
NURSERY CARE
our nursery staff and volunteers in the nursery during the worship
service. While we delight in their active participation in the
sanctuary, we offer this safe space of exploration for our families.
All adults in our church family are invited to share the love with
our young children by volunteering to assist our nursery care
worker occasionally throughout the church year. See the church
newsletter for the sign-up.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Journey in Faith - Sunday School
Our middle school youth will be learning about worship and liturgy. They will take a month to explore each of the central parts of worship- the table, the font, the word, and the assembly. They will also learn about the way the church keeps time. After learning about the biblical basis, the theological meaning and symbolism, and our practice of it, the youth will write their own liturgy to be used in a youth led worship service.
Follow Me - Sunday School
Our high school youth will be learning about discipleship and faithful practices with the Follow Me curriculum this fall. This is the third and final year in this curriculum series and will include a study of the practices of lament, crossing borders, and communion.
Middle School Manna
Our middles schoolers will meet on second, third, and fourth Friday evenings from 6:30-8pm in the Great Hall. We will participate in mission, play games, explore scriptures, and enjoy fellowship together.
Youth Group
Our high schoolers will meet after church in the Great Hall on Sunday mornings to play games, learn about our faith, and participate in mission together. We will gather after the service and dismiss at 1:45pm. This semester, we will be learning about our Presbyterian faith and why we believe what we believe.
ADULTS MINISTRY
SUNDAY FAITH FORMATION
Adults are invited to join us in the fellowship hall each Sunday to explore faith together. This semester, we will be learning more about discipleship and faithful practices. We will begin with the practice of lament. The topics for each month vary. We know schedules are busy you can drop in whenever you can and learn in community with us!
Monday Morning bible study
Join the pastors each Monday morning for a preview of the next Sunday’s text. Come with questions or just a sense of wonder and we will explore the texts and their implications on our faithful living.
ACT III MINISTRIES
Act III is a ministry geared for older adults, generally in their 70s or above, who are navigating the blessings and challenges that come with age. In our time together, we will strengthen community, study scriptures through the lens of aging, and explore our vocation and discipleship in this particular stage of life. Anyone who identifies with this stage is invited to join us for Morning Prayer, including fellowship, worship, and study, on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-12 beginning on October 1.
Adults can volunteer to assist our Covenant Kids teaching team as helpers. See the church newsletter for the sign up.
PARENTING & FAITH
Being a parent is never an easy job. Being a parent today brings a unique set of challenges as well. If you are parent, either of
teens or of little ones, let’s gather to figure out what faithful parenting looks like today and also to share our stories, celebrations, and struggles with others who are raising the future today. Keep an eye out for parent meet-ups this fall.
